United Company of Pharmacists UCP, a shareholding company established in 1996, is Egypt’s leading wholesale distributor of pharmaceuticals with 32.6% market share and 28 billion EGP in sales for the year ending 31 December 2021. The Company distributes more than 11,500 pharmaceutical products representing approximately 90% of total market and 3,500 personal care products leveraging UCP with the most powerful portfolio in the market. UCP combines local market expertise with modern technology to provide reliable and quality-driven distribution services.
Our extensive experience and infrastructure allows manufacturers to focus on their own core expertise. A scalable infrastructure supports the marketing efforts of our principals, and our debt collection service reduces the country risks of individual principals.
In order to optimize synergies among the group and leverage UCP large distribution network and coverage, FMCG’s have been included in UCP distribution mechanism including telesales and B2B ordering systems.
UCP provides the largest direct account coverage in all healthcare channels in Egypt, employing over 1875 telesales and sales representatives to support the activities of our principals in the trade channel. Adopting and implementing SAP ERP as a technological digital transformation system created integrated business processes, a homogenous culture, and a holistic customer experience, an experience that can meet ever-changing business demands and market requirements proactively & thoroughly.
